How Do I Utilize the Samsara Electronic Logging Device?

1. Download and Install the Samsara Logbook App:

  • Go to the iOS App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device.

  • Search for "Samsara Driver" and download/install the app.

2. Create Your Profile:

  • Open the Samsara logbook app.

  • To set up your profile, you'll need to enter the following information:

    • Driver Fleet ID: Use "hpi" as the Fleet ID.

    • Username: Your username will have been generated and provided by the Hi Pro, Inc. Human Resources Department - you’ll want to retrieve this information from your email inbox.

    • Password: Your password will have been generated and provided by the Hi Pro, Inc. Human Resources Department - you’ll want to retrieve this information from your email inbox.

PAY

When will I receive my paycheck? When does my Regional Manager have to report my worked hours?

Payments are made bi-weekly, with paydays falling on every other Monday. It is essential to certify and submit your logged hours daily. You can refer to the 2024 Payroll Calendar for the schedule.

New employees will receive their first payment in the form of a paper check, which will be sent to the address you provided through USPS. This procedure helps the Human Resources Department verify the accuracy of your direct deposit information.

HEALTH & WELFARE WAGES

What do Health and Welfare Wages Entail?

Health and welfare wages are designated to offset the costs of medical, dental, and vision health insurance. Any remaining funds will be allocated to bolster your profit-sharing retirement plan.

What Occurs with the Wages if I Already Possess Health Insurance?

Our existing benefits package encompasses medical, dental, vision, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment coverage, accident medical expense benefits, and an employee assistance program for both part-time and full-time employees, irrespective of their existing external health insurance coverage.

PROFIT SHARE RETIREMENT PLAN

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to view your Profit Share Retirement Plan account and when you can begin withdrawing from it:

Step 1: Access Your Account Online

To view your Profit Share Retirement Plan account, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the website: www.go-retire.com.

  2. If it's your first time accessing your account, you'll need to set it up. Click on "Log In as Participant."

  3. For your username, use your social security number without any dashes.

  4. Your password should be your date of birth in the format MMDDYYYY.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process for your online access.

Step 2: Viewing Your Account

Once you've successfully set up your online access, you can view your Profit Share Retirement Plan account by logging in with your username and password. Here, you'll be able to see your account balance, contributions, and other account details.

Step 3: Withdrawal Eligibility

To know when you can begin withdrawing from your Profit Share Retirement Plan account, consider the following:

  • You can start making withdrawals when you reach 59 1/2 years of age.

  • If you are no longer employed by the company, you may also choose to cash out your account.

Please note that tax implications and penalties may apply to early withdrawals, so it's important to understand the rules and regulations associated with your retirement plan. It's advisable to consult with a financial advisor or your plan administrator for specific details regarding withdrawals.
